We've made two trips to the zoo in the past week and ahalf. We got season passes for twelve months so we are looking forward to many more visits.
The Texas summer heat started early this year, so we make sure we are at the zoo at 9am when it opens, and leave around noonish, just after we finish our packed lunch. The kids are loving it, and it gets them out of the house and they get to LEARN about animals!
The Houston Zoo just opened a dinosaur exhibit. It's really neat! There are seven different dinosaurs and they all move their head and eyes, and make noises. Luke couldn't get enough of them....we had to walk through three times and see them! Thankfully, you only have to pay once!
